Question and Answer With Kurt Zouma | Interview

Kurt Zouma has been one of Chelsea's standout performers this season, and in this exclusive interview he tells us about feeling settled at Stamford Bridge again, his development over the years and the key to his recent goalscoring exploits.

Zouma featured more frequently than another centre-back last season and it is an identical story this term, with all the French defender playing just about two league fixtures so far. His form has become excellent and hasn't gone unnoticed by Didier Deschamps, who may have recalled him to your France national team.

1. Kurt, is it one of the most settled you have felt since joining Chelsea in 2014?

Maybe, yeah, but I felt settled from the moment I arrived. Then I had created the injury along to take loan, but I now I feel very settled again exactly like Used to when I joined. 

2. The amount ya think Chelsea as a golf has evolved because you come to 2014?

It feels like the same location, really, just players and the manager had changed. 

3. And using what ways ya think you have developed as a new player and a person?

When I arrived I used to be very young, just 19, and coming to a new country, so I used to be learning everything. As a guy I grew up, I had created children. Now I am getting more knowledgeable; when I go searching and start to see the young guys while in the team you can say I'm almost old now!

I've got created in all aspects, even mentally. I have discovered to handle things when they go well and when they go low number of well. I have discovered the work you should put in every single day, time you should spend while in the gym. 

I do think I've got improved my game too, tactically and physically, now My business is even scoring some goals, hopefully it keeps going like that. 

4. How important was the long contract you used to be shown in 2017, before your loan to Stoke, in leading you to think that Chelsea still wanted you?

I had been injured for a long time and the club set it up enable you to embark on loan, improve, and reveal that I was able to come back. It absolutely was the test to ascertain if I was able to go back and earn it again while in the Chelsea team. I used to be grateful for that. 

When I took loan it wasn't easy, but I enjoyed being back for the pitch and playing football. That period forced me to a great deal to come during the Chelsea team. 

To ensure the contract forced me to a lot. For some players, sometimes you don't know if you'll go back or not. But I used to be convinced 100 percent I would come back.

5. What's the step to your good form this holiday season?

Training, and my team-mates. They aid me out a whole lot with technical stuff and giving me advice. 

6. What have you learned off Thiago Silva?

He's a very calm guy. He has experience. They know the experience very well. She has won many trophies. His positioning is always advantageous defensively when we do not have the ball, to provide a source ball he'll find passes. He is yet another leader while in the team, so you will discover many things to learn off him. 

7. You've already scored four league goals this season. What on earth is your strategy attacking corners and free-kicks?

Nothing is special really. I'm well informed in myself. The technical staff put more confidence and rely upon me. Now when there is the spine I know I could score and also have the feeling 100 percent I can certainly create difference. Also, the man who takes the set-piece is trying to find me a bit more. It comes down to determination, motivation and confidence.

8. How would you manage to hang uphill such a long time?!

I not really know, honestly! I used to be just born that way I do think! 

9. What are you currently considering by visiting head the ball?

I believe contact first but all at once guide it to guarantee it's on target. I know if I put power on the website and it is on target it will likely be very dangerous. 

10. Have you ever set a goals tally for that season?! John Terry posted on your Instagram recently saying you're catching him up…

Yes I saw that, I'm catching him up, slowly, slowly, but you should carry on doing it!

I can't employ a target for goals this holiday season, honestly. Among the best to win several games as I could and receive a trophy, because Chelsea possibly there is to win trophies.
